Privacy Policy
Effective October 17, 2026
The short version. I collect what you type into my forms so I can reply to you and, if we work together, run our engagement. I don't use cookies, ads, or tracking. I don't sell or share your information for marketing. You can ask me to see, fix, or delete it at any time by emailing cj@21teki.me.
1. Who I am
21teki.me is run by The de Jimenez Experience, LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as 21teki. It's operated by its founder, Christina "CJ" McShine de Jiménez, from Maryland, USA. In this policy, "I" and "me" mean 21teki and The de Jimenez Experience, LLC, which is the "controller" of your personal information. Questions or requests go to cj@21teki.me.
2. What I collect
Information you give me
When you book a Virtual Tea or apply for a Strategy Build or VIP Intensive, I collect:
- Your title, full name, email address, and phone number (with country code, and whether it's on WhatsApp)
- Your business or organization and your role
- What you tell me about your project, goals, timeline, team, and how you found 21teki
- Your scheduling preferences: preferred date or days, time window, and time zone
- For applications: your payment preference and whether you completed a Clarity Session
Please don't include sensitive information (such as health, financial account, or government ID details) in the forms. I don't need it.
Information collected automatically
- Your device's time zone. The form reads it so it can show my booking windows in your local time. It's sent with your form so I schedule correctly.
- Basic server logs. My hosting provider, Netlify, automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to deliver and protect the site.
- A display preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your own browser. It never leaves your device. See the Cookie Policy.
3. How I use it
- To review your request, reply to you, and schedule our conversation
- To prepare for, deliver, and invoice services if we work together
- To keep business, tax, and accounting records
- To keep the site secure and working
I don't use your information for advertising, I don't build marketing profiles, and I don't make automated decisions about you. If I ever start an email newsletter, I'll ask you to opt in separately.
4. Who it's shared with
I never sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. I use a small number of service providers to run the business. They only process your information to provide their service to me:
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| Netlify | Hosts the website and receives form submissions |
| Trello (Atlassian) | Where I organize and track inquiries and projects |
| Zoho Mail and Google (Gmail) | Business email, including form notifications and our correspondence |
| Calendar and video meeting tools | Scheduling and holding our meetings. The tool is named in your invitation. |
| Payment processor | Handles payments for paid services. The processor is named on your invoice. I never see or store your full card number. |
I may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect my rights or someone's safety.
5. How long I keep it
- Inquiries that don't become engagements: deleted within 12 months of our last contact.
- Clients: kept for the length of our engagement, then for up to 7 years for tax and accounting records.
- Server logs: kept by Netlify according to its own retention schedule.
6. How I protect it
The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to my email, Trello, and hosting accounts is limited to me and protected by strong passwords. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information.
7. Where it's stored
I'm based in the United States, and my service providers may store data in the United States and other countries. If you're outside the US, your information will be transferred to the US. Where required, these transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the providers' certifications under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
8. Your rights under GDPR and UK GDPR
If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, these rights apply to you.
Legal bases I rely on
- Taking steps at your request before a contract and performing a contract: reviewing your request or application, scheduling, and delivering services.
- Legitimate interests: running and securing the site and keeping business records. These never override your rights.
- Legal obligation: keeping tax and accounting records.
Your rights
- Access: ask for a copy of the information I hold about you
- Rectification: ask me to correct anything inaccurate
- Erasure: ask me to delete your information
- Restriction: ask me to limit how I use it
- Portability: ask for your information in a portable format
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Complaint: lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To use any of these rights, email cj@21teki.me. I'll respond within one month. I may need to confirm your identity first.
9. Your rights in the United States
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information I collect, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. I don't sell or share personal information, but you can still make any of these requests by emailing cj@21teki.me. I won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
10. Children
This site and my services are for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent me information, email me and I'll delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, I'll make that clear on the site.
